About Conor Omuiri

I am a partner in Kirkland & Ellis\' debt finance practice based in New York. I am part of teams advising corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, direct lenders, banks and other financial institutions on a variety of debt financing transactions, including cross-border and domestic acquisition financings, first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings, restructuring transactions and investment grade financings.Prior to joining Kirkland, I practiced at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York and at Stikeman Elliot LLP in Toronto. I completed my Juris Doctor at Queen\'s University in Kingston, Ontario. Outside of work, I am a volunteer coach with Ice Hockey In Harlem, coaching and mentoring young children from low-income households and passing on the lessons I\'ve learned along the way from playing team sports my whole life. I am also an active participant with the Canadian Association of New York. I love to tee it up on the golf course whenever time permits and I\'ve recently taken up road cycling.
