About Conor McCaskey

Conor McCaskey’s journey to Dobil Laboratories is anything but traditional. Conor started out his professional career as a Volunteer Firefighter in his hometown of Mt. Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh. When not working at the firehouse he simultaneously also started a successful pizzeria in the South Side of Pittsburgh which later grew into several other locations in the tri-state area. He worked passionately as a firefighter for 15 years before a fall from a building ended his career abruptly. Conor began exploring other career opportunities and got into the broadcast industry. His duties included building satellite trucks and television studios for networks such as ESPN, ABC, FOX, and many others. Conor arrived at Dobil Laboratories in 2002, bringing his technical knowledge of the broadcast industry. He soon realized that that the broadcast world and AV world operated very differently and that he had a lot to learn in this new field. Conor started out at Dobil as an AV Tech learning a lot from his peers along the way. Conor was a quick study and soon worked as a Project Manager and then ultimately moved into Sales. His knowledge of various jobs within the company make him a well-informed salesman who can understand projects from every phase of planning. Conor enjoys working in the field of technology because of its fast paced, and ever-changing landscape. When he is not at work, you can find Conor on the golf course! If he is not at the golf course that probably means that he and his wife Dana found a good deal on an international trip that they couldn’t pass up!
