Senior Network Engineer @Citi

Delivery of network design solutions and implementations, in a large complex global network supporting all Citi business units. Wide range of deliverables including 3rd party connections, new campus site designs, re-engineering of existing campus sites and Data center migrations. Key Responsibilities- Understanding business needs by gathering requirements and delivering network design solutions - Formulating hardware bill of materials and hardware designs to support the procurement of new network hardware - Producing full design documentation including network configurations through to production deployment - Producing build packages which include implementation plans, test plans and change controls - Out of hours mid-week and weekend network deployments to implement solutions to the production network - Working as a senior member of large global cross functional project teams, providing status updates to project managers, presenting designs to the business, working closely with in country site support, working with application teams to implement solutions - Adhering to standards to ensure that implementations are fit for purpose, built and deployed correctly to support the wider business needs - Provide help and support to development of junior engineers within the Network Services team.
