Cardiovascular research intern under Dr. John D. Corl. Maintained hospital’s IVUS database. Constructed a comprehensive cath lab CLI database with over patients. Co-author of paper published by the Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (JSCAI). Spent 400+ hours in cath lab and operating room observing procedures including percutaneous interventions of the coronary and peripheral arteries, CABG’s, and right/left heart catheterizations. Acquired skills and knowledge pertaining to cardiovascular anatomy, angioplasty and atherectomy devices, reading angiograms, ultrasounds, and IVUS. Working towards completion of CLI database and related publications.
