About Connor Z.

After graduating with the class of 2023. I hold two majors, Economics and Communication Studies from Canisius College (now Canisius University). The interest in deciding to pursue a career in financial services began when I was young and has developed into much more than just a job, it is a passion of mine. Being extremely interested in helping others has created opportunities as soon as I opened my mind to the realm of finances.While I was in high school I was working as a receiving clerk for a technology company where I was able to first be introduced to communicating with all types of people. Immediately after graduating high school I took 3 years off to pursue a dream of playing hockey at the Division I level. During this time I was able to travel to Spain, Sweden, UK, and Australia. Through these travels I was able to mold my people skills to a multicultural level. During my third year of junior hockey I committed to play Division I Hockey at Canisius College. My time at Canisius was amazing, I was able to spend my summers working as a bartender at Brookfield Country Club where I have been able to work on my networking skills; all while being immersed on campus with new opportunities to structure my life to be successful. Opportunities I have had allowed me to grow my skills and knowledge through different perspectives. The privilege to have traveled starting at a young age developed my cultural knowledge and awareness which also allowed me to understand concepts in a very unique and educated way.
