I received a Risk Management degree with an ERM option through the Smeal College of Business. I also earned a minor in Economics. I am currently pursuing my Master\'s in Enterprise Risk Management at Boston University. My focus as a risk & compliance professional has been to ensure companies reach their fullest potential while maintaining exceptional governance. While I have worked primarily in the 2nd Line of Defense through testing and validation of controls, I have also designed, implemented, and carried out controls as a process owner.I currently work as the Senior IT Risk & Controls Analyst for Franklin Templeton. Responsible for risk assessments regarding digital assets (including blockchain / distributed ledger technology), risk management (including identification, mitigation, control design and effectiveness testing) as well as implementing and running new governance controls. Our team strives to create a safe & secure work environment for Franklin in the ever-shifting context of risk. In addition, I assist with regulatory audit preparation, both from the European sector (with regulations such as DORA, to interfacing with the CSSF) to India (SEBI with data localization requirements & regulations.)I previously worked as a Risk Management Analyst for TransUnion, as a part of their Operational Risk and Controls Assurance team. This team is responsible for risk mitigation through identification, as well as implementing and monitoring controls. Our team sought to build a risk management framework that will be utilized throughout the entirety of TransUnion.
