About Connor Ptacin

I am an operator, builder, and developer. Over the last decade, I’ve delivered and lead more than 30 large-scale commercial construction projects totaling over 1.5 million square feet and $200MM, acquired and repositioned multi-family real estate assets, and most recently, launched and scaled a high volume, seven figure consumer business. As founder and operator of The Green, a multi-channel indoor golf facility in Chicago, I’ve led all aspects of launch and growth. I built the business from blank page to cash flow: initial concepting, business modelling, corporate structuring, capital raising, lease negotiation, buildout, hiring and developing the team, implementing operational systems, developing and deploying products, and driving revenue through performance-focused marketing. Under my leadership, the business has scaled to full capacity, established a strong operating model, and industry-leading revenues and margins. I attribute much of our success to disciplined operational vision: setting clear goals, communicating them relentlessly, building systems that drive performance, and developing a team that not only meets expectations but exceeds them and shares in the wins along the way. My expertise and motivation lies in operations, standardization, and growth, ensuring businesses not only run smoothly but scale efficiently. Whether I’m leading a project, managing an investment, or building a business, I bring a bias toward action, a deep command of execution, and a builder’s mindset to every venture I take on.
