ABOUT CONNOR PRIMEAU MHK

I am a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® with a Master of Human Kinetics, specializing in Mental Performance Consulting from the University of Ottawa. My career has been focused on enhancing the well-being and performance of people in high-performance environments. I currently serve as the Mental Performance Lead for Canada Soccer, where I design and implement tailored mental training programs to help athletes perform under pressure and contribute to the development and sustainability of high-performance cultures. In addition to my work with Canada Soccer, I serve as Director of Care for the Canadian Centre for Mental Health and Sport, where I coordinate mental health and performance services for individuals in sport across the country. I am a Professional Member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA) and the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP), the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), and a High Performance Certified Member of Sport Scientist Canada, reflecting my commitment to advancing the field of mental performance. I have also contributed to the Canadian Sport Psychology Association as both a Managing Council member and committee member throughout my career. This journey has been profoundly shaped by my experiences as an athlete and coach in high-performance hockey and collegiate lacrosse.
