About Connor Preti
I am a senior at Florida State University majoring in Risk Management & Insurance, with a strong foundation in risk analysis, underwriting, and the wholesale insurance market. Through my coursework and internships, I’ve gained exposure to several areas of the industry, with a focus on the Florida property market. This has given me a solid understanding of coastal risk, catastrophe exposure, and the challenges of placing business in the evolving E&S space. I’ve developed a practical approach to evaluating risk and supporting brokers in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments where execution matters. As I begin my career, I’m focused on continuing to learn, building strong industry relationships, and contributing to a team that values responsiveness and problem-solving. Following graduation, I will be joining Amwins as a Technical Assistant in Jupiter, Florida, where I will be working within the Florida property market and continuing to build experience with complex, catastrophe-exposed risks.
