About Connor Zook
I am a fourth-year Astronautical Engineering student at the University of Southern California and the prior Co-Lead of the Liquid Propulsion Laboratory. My passion is in liquid rocketry, space innovation, and startups. Some of my notable experiences were developing technology for LPL, including the largest Kero-LOx test stand in collegiate rocketry in 2023, our first throttling system with 5:1 capabilities in 2024, assisting in 35 hot fires in 2024 (4x previous year), and designing an AM 675lbf regen-cooled engine. I managed a team of over 70 people, supporting 10 teams as we developed toward flying the first collegiate hopper vehicle.
