ABOUT CONNOR SCHNICKE

As the Equipment Manager at Turner Mining Group, I oversee the maintenance and repair of a large fleet of heavy equipment for various mining projects across Texas. I lead a team of equipment professionals who are responsible for ensuring 0% equipment downtime and optimal performance. I have a strong background in equipment management, having worked for Kiewit for over five years in different roles, from technician to equipment manager. I have successfully completed multiple projects involving demolition, excavation, deep foundations and civil construction, managing the equipment budget, inventory, and maintenance. I have also acquired multiple skills in preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and demolition, which I apply to my current role. I hold a dual B.S. degree in Automotive Technology and Diesel Equipment Management from Montana State University-Northern, where I gained hands-on experience in various aspects of equipment engineering and mechanics. I am passionate about learning new technologies and best practices in the equipment industry, and I am always looking for opportunities to improve my skills and knowledge. My goal is to deliver high-quality service and results to my clients and stakeholders, while ensuring safety and compliance.
