In my engineering role at Fairline, I gain hands-on experience across each stage of the boatbuilding process, giving me a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to bring a luxury yacht from concept to completion.My primary responsibilities focus on the electrical side of yacht construction, including wiring and fitting dashboards, AC/DC breaker boards, and other core electrical systems. This work requires me to regularly interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams, assess information critically, and apply sound judgment in both installation and troubleshooting. I also conduct pit tests to ensure systems operate safely and effectively.The experience I gain at Fairline is invaluable in developing my problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and practical engineering skills—all of which continue to shape my professional growth in the marine engineering sector.
