About Connor Reimer
As a senior at Penn State University studying Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, I’ve developed a strong foundation in process improvement, human factors, engineering economics, statistics, and production systems engineering. Over the past three years, I’ve worked in the Strategy Department at Sheetz, where I collaborated across multiple teams and gained hands-on experience applying industrial engineering principles to drive operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives. This role, combined with my coursework, has also provided me with experience in a variety of software and programs, including MATLAB, SolidWorks, Clarity PPM, and SQL. In addition, as the current President of the Industrial Engineering Honors Society, I’ve strengthened my leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills by organizing events, leading initiatives, and representing the organization across various platforms.Outside of academics, I’m actively involved with the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) and THON, contributing to both professional development and community fundraising efforts at Penn State.
