About Connor Ohlhorst

I am a scientist with experience in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, primarily with developing testing programs for trace heavy metals to meet corporate and regulatory requirements. I have broad knowledge of heavy metals testing requirements according to ICH Q3D, USP, China FDA, ISO 21392:2021, and other regulatory requirements. I am skilled in several analytical techniques including ICP-MS, HPLC, GC, IC, Dissolution, XRD, XRF, SEM, TGA, DSC, FTIR and Raman spectroscopy, and others. In particular, I have worked extensively with Agilent and Thermo ICP-MS instruments and Anton-Parr and Milestone microwave digestion instruments. I have extensive experience with spectroscopy, complaint and product investigations, calibrations, writing reports and authoring test methods and SOPs.
