As Chief of Staff, I act as Congresswoman Omar\'s most senior advisor and liaison. I manage 16 members of staff in both the DC and District Offices and oversee an annual budget of over $1.8 million. I focus primarily on short- and long-term strategic planning, thoughtful personnel management, and setting and overseeing the implementation of office goals. I am driven by a passion for making a positive impact in people\'s lives. I specifically focus on creating a positive work environment aimed at empowering people to achieve small and large shared goals. I have developed my experience through working on official and campaign sides of American electoral politics. I have also worked at both federal and state levels of government. I advise Congresswoman Omar on a variety of topics, but focus on foreign policy, defense, labor, interfaith, and elections/democracy issues.
