I am a highly motivated Strategic Sourcing Leader with eight years of experience in Finance, Global Supply Chain Management, and Procurement. I have a strong passion for the steel and metals industry, developed through my recent position at The Haydon Corporation. In this role, I led contract negotiations with major steel suppliers, achieving significant cost savings and boosting profits for Haydon. I collaborated daily with distributors, consulting on end-product acquisition, which has led to increased sales and enhanced customer satisfaction. My interest in manufacturing and lean processes supported Haydon’s profit and growth goals. With the company\'s relocation in July, my position was eliminated, and I am seeking new opportunities to leverage my knowledge and experience across these disciplines.Before being promoted to this role, I was a Procurement Specialist, solely responsible for acquisition activities in the highly rated Baseboard Division. I also have experience in distribution and dealership settings. As a Procurement Agent with Foley CAT, Inc, I negotiated and procured large manufacturing equipment, working with the sales organization to fulfill orders as a major distributor and dealer of Caterpillar products.Earlier in my career, I served as a Professional Financial Data Analyst at Express Scripts, supporting various business units within the Financial Analysis Group. Prior to relocating to NJ with Express Scripts, I participated in Chubb\'s Early Career Program in Corporate Asset Management, where I handled accounting and reporting for Chubb\'s $64.1B portfolio of over investment securities.During my college summers, I interned at IBM in the prestigious Summit hire program, supporting a sales team focused on Business Process Automation with Blue Works Live, a cloud-based platform for transforming business processes. This exposure to BPR sparked my interest in how lean processes contribute to expense reductions and ultimately increase profits.I graduated Cum Laude from Rider University with a major in Finance and a minor in Marketing. I furthered my education with a second degree in Global Supply Chain Management from William Paterson University and an MBA with a concentration in Chinese Business Studies from Ramapo College.
