Responsible for all aspects of recruitment for our hourly skilled labour roles.(Such as, Electricians, Carpenters, Forepersons, Etc. • Have begun learning to recruit for salary roles. • Create and manage job advertisements using our applicant tracking software (ICIM\'s). • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter (Lite) to headhunt/recruit candidates using InMail. • Participate in meetings with Indeed representatives to increase our effectiveness in recruitment. • Assisted in the implementation of a new applicant tracking software (ATS). • Review resumes/applications of candidates for open jobs. • Conduct interviews with potential candidates both in-person & virtually. • Influence managers decisions regarding hiring candidates. • Responsible for recruiting candidates in six offices across the nation in different time zones. • Working closely with CLAC union to find jobs for current members and ensure collective agreement is being followed. • Document key performance indicators such as days to fill, number of interviews, number of candidates and sent weekly reports to senior management. • Plan & attend job/career fairs at schools across Canada. • Participate in team meetings to discuss targets and current opportunities/wins. • Played a key role in helping Maple Reinders reach a milestone to be over 500 employees. • Coach hiring managers on best interview/recruitment practices. • Schedule interviews for candidates/hiring managers. • Take thorough notes throughout the interview process. • Create & send job offer letters/packages to successful candidates. • Assist in orientation of new employees on first day. • Follow-up with new hires within first weeks to ensure quality or orientation and job enjoyment.
