Cannabis is the fastest growing industry in the U.S. It\'s the 6th most important cash crop to the U.S. economy. By 2030, the U.S. cannabis market is expected to exceed $100 billion. As a sophomore in college, I knew precisely none of this information. What I did know is that I\'d spent the past 2 years taking every science course and shadowing every physician all to learn that I wasn\'t even slightly interested in healthcare. With 2 years down the drain, I did what any self-respecting 20-something year old clueless college student would do: freak the out. Fast forward 2 years and I landed a job in business development working at a burgeoning cannatech company. All with 0 connections, 0 experience, and 0 \"traditional\" business background. Today, I help people break into the cannabis industry and find better jobs once they\'re in. The cannabis industry is in DESPERATE need of talent. With markets continuing to mature, there\'s job opportunities everywhere. But there\'s still such a high barrier to entry. Cannabis has such a unique landscape, history, and culture.
