As a legal intern with Idaho Power’s in-house litigation team, I assist in managing a broad range of legal matters impacting a major utility provider. My responsibilities include conducting legal research and drafting memoranda on issues involving civil litigation, regulatory compliance, property disputes, and environmental law. I support attorneys in preparing pleadings, discovery, and internal reports, and I help analyze risks and develop strategies for both ongoing litigation and potential claims.This role provides hands-on experience with complex legal issues in the energy sector and allows me to contribute to high-stakes matters affecting regional infrastructure and regulatory compliance. I also collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure legal and business alignment.
