ABOUT ALLISON CONNELLY

I serve as Officer of Strategy & Impact at The Geneva Foundation, where I work alongside the CEO and COO as part of the Senior Leadership Team guiding enterprise strategy, organizational alignment, and institutional positioning across a national biomedical research organization advancing military medicine. Geneva manages a $383M research portfolio spanning more than 300 programs, 190 sponsors and collaborators, and a workforce of nearly 500 employees operating across federal research ecosystems. In this role, I lead enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen how strategy translates into execution, aligning leadership, governance, partnerships, and operational priorities to support long-term mission impact. My work focuses on building the systems that enable organizations to navigate complexity. This includes enterprise strategy frameworks, governance infrastructure, stakeholder and ecosystem strategy, and leadership accountability models that help organizations operate effectively at scale. Over the course of my career, I have worked at the intersection of strategy, organizational transformation, and institutional positioning, helping leaders and organizations clarify direction, strengthen alignment, and move complex initiatives forward. In addition to this role, I work with organizations and entrepreneurs on strategic advisory and consulting engagements, supporting leadership teams as they navigate growth, transformation, and organizational change. My consulting work often focuses on enterprise strategy development, organizational alignment, governance effectiveness, and institutional positioning. I am particularly interested in working with organizations operating in complex, mission-driven environments, including nonprofit, research, healthcare, and regulated sectors, where thoughtful strategy and strong leadership systems are essential for long-term success. I always welcome thoughtful conversations with leaders exploring strategy, organizational alignment, and institutional growth in complex environments.
