Working in clubs allows us to get to know our members and help people feel seen, heard, and connected. What a gift it is that we go to work every day with the goals of surprising and delighting our members and guests, of fostering connection and community.I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, a child of educators and the furthest thing from \"a club kid.\" But I\'m so thankful to have landed in this industry. My career began with an entry level job at the CORE Club in NY and then at 24 years old, I moved to Philadelphia to become the first Director of Membership and Communications at the oldest country club in the United States, Philadelphia Cricket Club. PCC was my second home for over 11 years, and there I learned the importance of soliciting and leveraging member feedback; that developing an employee-centric culture is integral to delivering a first-class member experience; that the member experience extends beyond the physical club; how to be an effective manager; how to include members and fellow staff in finding solutions; how to stimulate membership growth in both challenging and receptive economic environments; and that it’s what we do every day and how we treat those around us that makes us successful.Fitler Club is my new home, and it is a club unlike any other. I fell for this place the first time I laid eyes on it - the spaces ooze swag and sophistication, with the members and staff to match. Fitler is home to a diverse, dynamic community: young professionals looking to develop their personal and professional network; families looking to enjoy quality time and new experiences together (or just have someone watch their kids for a couple hours so they can have dinner in peace - as the dad of a toddler, I feel that!); lifelong learners, seeking intellectually stimulating conversations and opportunities; fitness enthusiasts looking for a premium comprehensive wellness experience.Most importantly, individuals and families of all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds, interests, industries, and comfort zones are welcome at Fitler Club.
