ABOUT CONCETTA DI PIETRO

I started my career as interpreter after my degree in Modern Languages and Literatures. I had the opportunity to go to India to open a new plant of my former Company, Magneti Marelli, and I discovered to have a natural attitude to build good relationships based on trust and emphaty. In Magneti Marelli and, from in DENSO, I covered different roles and had various responsibilities. As Customer Service, I was in charge of receiving orders and establish a good and constant communication with customers from all over the world. Again as Logistics Planner and Production Controller, I could grasp how some suppliers needed to level up and immediately offered tools to improve the communication with them and boost their delivery performance. I had the opportunity to work as buyer in a Purchasing Dept. deeply connected with other companies belonging to the same group so experienced the power of global purchasing and benchmarking. In Facilities Dept. I could see the plant from another perspective and ensure stable production through a severe preventive maintenance plan of all equipments with a special eye on ensuring stable production and apply the principles of Just in Time and Perfect Energy Factory. Moving towards the most technical part of the plant, I cooperated with the team to have efficient operations and save as much energy as possible. I became soon the Carbon Neutral Leader controlling the amount of CO2 emissions and compensating them with Carbon Credits as per Company Policy. I belong to a multinational team sharing ideas and new technologies with zero CO2 emissions. I had two years experience in HR dept. where I carryied out different tasks in HRD, General Affairs, Information Security and Communication. Currently in Quality Management System environment where I ensure internal Quality System meets requirement, especially the ones required by Customers and aligning procedures and rules, also supporting different Dept.s involved. Multitasking and continuous learning, giving support to my organization is a challenge and a privilege at the same time.
