ABOUT VIJAY KOHLI
Vijay joined NDA Khadakvasla in 1978 & after 4 years rigorous training he was commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery from IMA Dehradun. Vijay held all important Man management & Administrative positions like Adjutant & Quartermaster in the units. He was selected for Long Gunnery Staff Course at School of Artillery, Deolali & qualified as an Instructor. He has held senior military appointments of Brigade Major, Battery Commander & Second in Command. After, commanding FIRST FIELD regiment for 4 years, Vijay held the was appointment of Deputy Commander of over 2 years & thereafter decided to take premature retirement from Army in 2008. Col Vijay thereafter qualified in the Special Post graduate Diploma course in Business Management from MDI Gurgaon in 2008. In campus placement, Vijay was initially hand picked by DCM Shriram Consolidated Limited. Thereafter, he served in the KK Birla group Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Limited, Kota from 2009-11. From 2012-14 he was actively involved in stabilizing a new greenfield project of Shriram Pistons near the industrial town of Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Col Kohli had a brief tenure with Bombay Intelligence Security (India) Limited at Delhi also. In Jun 2015, Vijay joined the Luxury hotels of the reputed Anand group.
