ABOUT COLUM MULHALL MENG GISTRUCTE
I am a Structural Engineer based in Edinburgh with nearly 4 years of industry experience both in consultancy and on site. I have worked on various types of projects, including residential, cultural, data centres, healthcare, science and technology and civil infrastructure. I am a member of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland (MIEI) and of the Institution of Structural Engineers (GIStructE) I possess an MEng Degree (1.1) and NFQ Level 9 Microcredential (1.1) in Sustainable Reuse of Existing Structures, both from University College Cork (UCC) in Ireland. In 2023, I was nominated by UCC for the ROI Region IStructE Student Prize and awarded the Joe Gantly Prize in Engineering at UCC. I am driven and welcome taking on new challenges and responsibilities. In this regard, I am working towards achieving CEng MIEI and CEng MIStructE Chartership.
