About Colton Martinez
I am a student at the University of Central Florida, where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Business. I am set to graduate in the Summer of 2024. I am a very active person and enjoy an active lifestyle. I enjoy weight training and functional moment five to six days a week. I also enjoy long running anywhere from two miles to six miles three to four times a week. I also enjoy cooking elaborate, organic, and beneficial meal that fuel my body, mind, health and spirit. I currently work at Bio Products Inc where I am a shipping assistant. In this position I am refining my skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office by aiding in the preparation of paper work for shipments to be sent by air or sea internationally. I also aid in the package and preparing of orders to then take hand delivery of shipments to the freight forwarder. All while maintaining constant communication with customer about their order and giving them the best experience possible. I have also learned other parts of the company as how to create quotas for customers. Currently I am looking for a Summer 2024 Internship or a Full-time job in the import/export, construction management, or land management field that will help me attain real life work experience.

Manage shipping bay by receiving merchandise then efficiently entering merchandise into inventory system and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Pack delivery vehicle with merchandise order then delivery order to freight forwarder warehouse and fill out all the correct international paperwork that are sent out with order. Assist shipping manager in carefully packing orders and preparing the correct paperwork for merchandise to be shipped by air or sea across international borders. Suggest and assist shipping manager in creating new efficient and effective ways to speed up the check in and shipping out process of merchandise.
