ABOUT ADAM COLTHORPE
I’m a strategic leader working at the intersection of communications, social justice and systems change. With over 20 years’ experience across the charity and private sectors, I’ve built and led teams that shift public narratives, shape policy and strengthen organisations from within. My work spans brand strategy, communications & media, income generation, stakeholder engagement, and frontline service development. I’ve led successful national and regional campaigns on workforce development, mental health, poverty, housing, domestic abuse, and family relationships; partnering with multi-national brands, police forces, local authorities, broadcasters, and health services. At Porchlight, I led the income generation and communications, developing a new organisational strategy, modernising brand and messaging, and overseeing business development and client data systems for vulnerable adults, and children & young people. Previously, I co-founded and scaled a national suicide prevention and family support service. I’ve also worked at the intersection of health, digital innovation and public awareness with two mental health charities and one physical disability charity.I bring a broad, collaborative, outcomes-driven approach to leadership, shaped by a personal and professional commitment to health, equity, and dignity in all forms of support and storytelling.
