Over a 20 year tenure in the Indian Army where I was awarded the prestigious Sena Medal - Gallantry by the President of India for bravery and leadership - I led counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations along the Line of Control in Jammu & Kashmir, managing large teams in some of the most challenging terrains and trying conditions.
