I direct all Clinical Trial activities for the Acute Therapies group at Vantive. I also interface with the FDA and international regulatory bodies for these efforts and in the design, management, and execution of clinical trials. I also drive the cultivation of relationships with key opinion leaders in the critical care treatment community. I am a strategic, highly disciplined, results-oriented leader with a 28-year record of accomplishment in ideating, developing, and commercializing advanced medical devices. I leverage a strong military background with focused clinical training to build and execute strategies that successfully bring these products to market. As an accomplished medical device innovator, I am the listed inventor on nearly 100 domestic and international patents and/or applications for cardiovascular and general surgical devices. Revenue from these product and market development efforts has exceeded $900MM over the last five years. My product leadership is supported by clinical expertise in Cardiovascular interventional and surgical procedures and techniques that support product innovation. Highly intuitive, with strong organizational and communication skills, I am adept at leading large multidisciplinary project teams. I have substantial experience navigating the complex domestic and international regulatory landscapes surrounding the commercialization of medical devices. I proudly served in the US Army and attained the rank of Colonel, with multi-level command leadership experience.
