At Ally, I am a Software Engineer on team Stratasphere. I contribute to the development and maintenance of GraphQL APIs and ETL services for internal integrations, leveraging technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Node, Python, GraphQL Mesh, Yoga, Hive, some Java, and most recently Go. I build and optimize API integrations to streamline data access across numerous internal services, while also partnering with new or existing teams to expand and enhance integration efforts. My role also involves using Terraform, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD to provision, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure—including Lambdas, Elastic Containers, Load Balancers, RDS, DynamoDB, and S3 buckets—ensuring scalable and resilient service delivery. I actively participate in code reviews, service monitoring, and incident resolution, utilizing tools like CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Snowflake, Insomnia, Apigee, and OpenTelemetry. Working in an Agile Scrum environment, I manage work through Jira and collaborate across teams via Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Confluence.
