ABOUT JOSEPH COLLINS

I am a commercially focussed and financially astute transformation and change expert. I focus predominantly on the delivery of large-scale and complex capital automation, infrastructure and industrial projects, particularly those with a focus on implementing long-term transformation strategies such as automation. Currently I work as an automation transformation director in a business and change leadership role for a global container, and logistics company. I focus exclusively on delivering a strategy and then delivery for a portfolio of large-scale and complex automation projects.Holistically, I have three areas of focus:1. Building the Business Case (including project management plan) to support an investment decision2. Acting in the role of Project Sponsor and Portfolio Manager to safeguard and manage delivery of the project, with a focus on delivering the benefits (in the busines case) back to the business, and3. Driving continuous improvement in how we globally manage the multibillion-dollar global project portfolio as part of a Project Execution Team and HQ. My professional experience is broad, having worked globally and also across the market; predominantly in Consultancy (management, design, and planning), for an EPC & EPCM Contractor and now as part of an Owner and Operator organisation.I am a Chartered (ChPP) member of the Association for Project Management (APM)
