As an Investment Operations Intern at NYS Teachers\' Retirement System, I applied my Excel and Bloomberg skills to support the investment team in managing the pension fund\'s assets and liabilities. I contributed to the daily reconciliation, valuation, and reporting of the fund\'s portfolio, as well as the research and analysis of market trends and opportunities. I also gained valuable exposure to various asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, real estate, and private equity.Before joining NYS Teachers\', I worked as a Customer Service Representative at Ballston Spa National Bank, where I provided excellent service and assistance to the bank\'s customers and handled their transactions, inquiries, and complaints. I also helped promote the bank\'s products and services and maintained a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at the University of Rhode Island, where I have acquired a solid foundation in financial concepts, principles, and practices. I have also completed the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate and Bloomberg Market Concepts certifications, which demonstrate my proficiency and knowledge in using these essential tools for finance professionals.I am passionate about learning and growing in the field of finance and investment, and I am eager to apply my skills and competencies to contribute to the success of a reputable and innovative organization.
