About Collin Oneill
Hi, my name is Collin, and I’m passionate about using my skills to innovate in the aerospace industry. I have experience in liquid rocket engine design, software development, and civil engineering. My passion is taking an idea, turning it into reality, testing that idea against real world conditions, and then rapidly iterating. I consider my specialties to be programming to solve engineering problems, analysis of systems from first order principles to create potential solutions, producing CAD and engineering drawings to produce high-quality, manufacturable product definition, and environmental component testing. I graduated with my Bachelor\'s and Master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from The Ohio State University. My thesis project involved using plasma actuator flow control to improve performance metrics for an offset inlet/diffuser. I spent one year at Dynetics performing mechanical design to support the Dynetics Human Landing System (DHLS) development. I am now a propulsion engineer at Blue Origin supporting development, test, and production of BE-4 engine components.
