About Collin Davis

I am a recent college graduate of Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania studied Hospitality Management with a concentration in Hotel Management and a minor in Communications. At graduation from Mercyhurst University, I graduated with Cum Laude Latin Hours in May of 2021. I have previously worked at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio as an Admissions Associate for two summers of 2017 + 2018. I also worked two summers of 2019 + 2020 at Hotel Breakers at Cedar Point Amusement Park working in the Housekeeping Department and the Linen Services Department. In summer of 2021, I worked at Omni Hotels and Resorts in Bedford, Pennsylvania at Omni Bedford Springs Resort and Spa working as a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor AM, Houseman, Laundry Department Attendant, Recreation Attendant, and finally a Pool Attendant Internship. Omni Hotels and Resorts is a 4-star hotel chain. When I worked at Omni Bedford Springs Resort and Spa, I got nominated for two OMNI Service Champion Awards and then I got star associate of the week of August 30, 2021. During my time when I was a student at Mercyhurst University, I was employed with the Conference and Events, Walker College of Business, and lastly Mercyhurst University Dining Services. After graduation from Mercyhurst University, I am looking to be working in a hotel in different areas that may include housekeeping, front office, maintenance, concierge or resort concierge department making my way up to become a manager. In my free time I like to listen to music. I consider myself a hard worker, dedicated, a strong communicator and someone who is willing to go above and beyond to help someone out who is in need. I also have been on the Dean’s List at Mercyhurst University for three semesters now that includes Fall 2018 Semester, Spring 2019 Semester, and Fall 2020 Semester. At the moment, after graduation from Mercyhurst University, I am currently working at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida doing the Disney College Program at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom Theme Park and I work has a custodian. I have been here since Monday, September 20, 2021, and my departure date is Thursday, August 25, 2022 on the Disney College Program and I still work at WDW has a Day Custiodian.
