Ling “Collette” Yao, PMP, CPHQ is a healthcare leader with a history of building innovative solutions to meet profit and growth objectives. She is passionate about helping payers and providers transform healthcare for patients. Currently, Collette serves as the Head of Medicare Markets at Healthfirst and manages the P&L of the Individual MA-PD portfolio. Previously, she was the Director of Risk Adjustment, Quality, and Regulatory Reporting at Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY). In her role, She led analytics strategy and operations to support the health plan and its affiliated home care organization. Prior to VNSNY, Collette managed the risk adjustment and quality programs for risk-bearing care delivery organizations at OptumCare and consulted with a variety of healthcare clients to develop strategies to strengthen business results at OptumInsight. Previously, she led the deployment of a workforce management application to more than new users across all lines of business and many functional areas, which resulted in significant cost savings at UnitedHealth Care.Collette holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and a Master degree Geography and Planning. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Catskill Mountain Housing Development Corporation (403b) and the Advisory Board for the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Toledo.
