ABOUT COLLEEN SHIBLEY

I started out after high school with thoughts of being an engineer (loved Calculus). After taking a handful of classes at my local community college I decided it was not the career path for me. I switched soon after to computer programming. However life intervened and I found myself down another path.Having worked in an accounting office in high school I naturally gravitated towards the field and have been in it ever since. As much as I enjoy my current job and co-workers my passion instead lies in my \"second job\" of sorts my blog Shibley Smiles.My introduction into the world of computers, outside of college, began when I became a digital scrapbook designer. I was able to combine two of my favorite things, computers and art. I quit designing when my daughter was one to spend the needed time raising her. In July 2010 with a recommendation from an old high school friend I created Shibley Smiles. Once again I was back into the world of computers and designing.Shibley Smiles was originally created as an outlet for my creative need. However after 7 months I took the step to monetize and create a second income for my family. Today Shibley Smiles has become my second job. I have gone on some amazing trips from meeting Hugh Jackman in LA to Bob Harper in San Diego. I have reviewed some amazing products from washer and dryers to refrigerators and beds. I\'ve been part of some amazing Ambassador programs working with Brookstone, Best Buy, Coca-Cola and many others. Whether you know me from school, from work, or from my blog one thing you probably know about me is that I\'m optimistic, caring, and above all full of smiles!
