About Colleen Malmassari

I graduated from Central Washington University with bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Spanish. I began my career in public accounting, providing assurance and tax services to agribusiness clients based primarily in Central WA State. However, about six years into my public accounting career, I became involved in recruiting talent and I was instantly hooked on honing my skills in the Human Resources field. In 2013, I was hired into my first full-time HR role with a local credit union. However, it was my deep family farming roots (I’m a fifth-generation farmer) that kept me dreaming about the Agriculture industry. So, for the past decade, I’ve helped lead HR teams at two different large Agriculture family-run businesses. In 2021, I joined Larson Gross to implement and lead the firm’s outsourced HR consulting services practice. Today, I have the opportunity to help owner-operated businesses and professionally-managed enterprises create improved workplaces for their team members.
