Northland Pioneer College is a community college that annually serves over 6,500 students in both Navajo and Apache counties (21k+ square mile area) in northeastern Arizona. The Navajo, Hopi, and White Mountain Indian Reservations occupy more than 60% of the total land in the district service area and 60% of the population. NPC\'s handsome campuses are located in 4 of the largest Navajo County communities: Holbrook, Show Low, Snowflake/Taylor, and Winslow. Five convenient centers serve Hopi, Kayenta, Springerville/Eagar, St. Johns, and Whiteriver communities as well. NPC offers bachelor\'s degrees, university transfer degrees, technical degrees/certificates, GED prep and testing, college prep courses, non-credit classes (community learning), Kids College, corporate training, and small business development. Classes include nursing, welding, business, IT, cosmetology, elementary education, construction, heavy equipment, automotive repair, fire science, behavioral health studies, art, music, theater, film & digital video and much more. NPC\'s mission is to provide educational excellence that is affordable and accessible for the enrichment of communities across northeastern Arizona. This college makes a difference, and I\'m proud to be a part of it.
