Work closely with Director of Real Estate, Director of Property Management, and Director of Finance, assisting with special projects to ensure we are capitalizing on business objectives. Oversee the accuracy and integrity of 818 income/expense/inter-company leases. Provide internal and external reporting of a portfolio of a property’s financials. Review abstracts, new leases, and renewals for accuracy and completeness. Review outside lease audits and prepare necessary documents. Annually prepare rental obligation letters and expense reconciliations for tenants. Prepare and process monthly rental obligations in excess of $5M. Generate monthly invoices and ledgers for entire portfolio of leases. Review and update budgets with actuals to review variances. Reconcile monthly bank accounts. Prepare journal entries to maintain accuracy of accounts. Work with audit firms to prepare and perform audits. Provide in-depth analysis of a project’s financial performance. Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and analysis. Act as a liaison between Finance and Real estate to maintain accuracy of ledgers. Review and update department procedures for increased efficiencies.
