Responsible for leading and directing the corporate wide strategy for manufacturing operations (4800 employees) for MillerCoors and all decisions relating to brewing, packaging, shipping, maintenance, quality services, technical services, human resources and cost items at the company’s eight major breweries,(union and non-union plants), as well as Container Joint Venture Operations producing bottles, cans, and ends with Owen Illinois and Ball Container respectively as partners. Total operating budget of $1.5B. Responsible for direction with a staff of brewery vice-presidents and other facility leaders to provide technical superiority in cost and productivity, to implement new products introductions for innovation, ensure the lowest cost producer status, and produce superior products. Responsible for making critical business decisions for determining operations response and direction from analyzing economic projections, industry trends and competitor actions. Delivered $475MM in Supply Chain synergies from the merger of Miller and Coors with record quality results, service performance as measured by our distributors, and with record safety performance with employees. Lead and direct MillerCoors World Class Manufacturing strategies to deliver continuous improvement systems and increased employee engagement results.
