They provide ambitious and visionary leadership that leads to transformational change in growing programmatic presence and support not only to communities historically served but beyond.The Chief External Affairs Officer is a passionate, mission-driven leader leading the organization\'s efforts to advance donor understanding and engagement with its programs and strategic priorities. Working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Leadership Team, is responsible for conceptualizing, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive development plan that aligns with SCES’s strategic and growth priorities, promotes ongoing community visibility and presence, and leverages SCES’s programmatic reach to raise capital and ensure financial sustainability. The position oversees the following teams and functions within SCES: Communications and Public Policy, and Marketing, Area Planning and Grantmaking, Fundraising and Event Planning, Volunteer Programs, and Community Support.
