About Colleen K.
Colleen has over twenty-five years of professional experience as a project manager for a variety public and private construction projects. Currently, she provides program management and owner\'s representation services for a diverse range of clients including education, municipal and workforce housing. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. Her background in general contracting and civil engineering provides a solid foundation to ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Colleen earned a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005. Her dissertation entitled “The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Transformational Leadership Behavior of Construction Industry Leaders” was the first extensive study of emotional intelligence within the construction industry. In addition, Colleen has published papers in the ASCE journals. She holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University.
