Processes the company’s bi-weekly payroll (500+ employees), administers company-sponsored employee benefit plans (e.g. 401(k), group health, life, STD and LTD plans, etc.), and maintains payroll system and employee personnel files.Compiles payroll data such as hours work, paid/unpaid time off, commissions, taxes, and voluntary and statutory employee deductions from time sheets and other records.Enters individual and summary payroll data into third-party payroll processor’s system, reviews and reconciles computed wages to ensure accuracy of payroll, and distributes payroll checks to employees.Collects and sends employee benefit plan enrollment applications/plan change elections to insurers and outside record keepers, maintains plan benefit eligibility information, and processes monthly premium payments. Assist with Darr Retirement Plan benefit program: Correspondence between retirees, Darr, and actuary for the purpose of implementing retirement/death benefits to vested participants in the Plan. Set up appropriate information in the benefits payment system. Assist with all reporting requirements related to the Plan. Compiles and prepares various reports and projects for the Human Resources Manager and other management personnel.
