ABOUT COLLEEN HARD

Colleen is a seasoned producer with expertise in documentaries, feature films, television, international campaigns, live stream / broadcast, and new media. Her projects have taken her around the world and have been seen in theaters, on Netflix, AppleTV+, Disney+, Google, Showtime, A&E, PBS, SpikeTV, MTV and more. Colleen has premiered projects at Cannes International Series, Tribeca, Slamdance and LiveEarth festivals. With decades of experience creating social, political, and sustainability-minded content, topics explored include mental health in prisons, war and women’s empowerment, gang violence and youth incarceration, stem cell research and regenerative medicine, true crime, culture and the natural world, conservation and the environment and more. She executive produced the content for IUCN’s World Conservation Congress, and President Biden’s 2021 Leaders Summit on Climate. In addition to film and television work, she has facilitated capacity building workshops in Liberia in conjunction with UNDP on election journalism, and conducted media assessments in Liberia and Guinea. Her work in non-profit based communications benefited communities both domestically and abroad in the fields of sustainability, journalism and more. Colleen received her MA in International Environmental Policy with a Specialization in Communications and BA in International Studies with a minor in German from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
