   In my time at DreamBox (now Discovery Education), I\'ve been responsible for driving the roadmap for the Adaptive Engine at the heart of what makes DreamBox the most personalized supplemental math learning solution on the market. I\'ve led a small but dedicated team of engineers, QA, data scientists, and curriculum designers to improve the efficacy of our solution: ensuring that students are always provided with the right next-lesson suggestions to improve their learning outcomes.I\'ve led product discovery interviews with customers and prospects, helping my team uncover the critical unmet needs, wants, and desires that underlie students\' decisions about how to engage with the product.I led the the initial release and refinement of Launchpad, a curriculum placement experience for K-8 students, and DreamBox\'s first foray into baseline assessment. Launchpad reduced support cases for placement resets during back-to-school by 46%. Students who took Launchpad were more engaged with the product (11% more students were engaged or very engaged), and grew their in-product math knowledge more over the course of the school year (39% increase in average growth), when compared to students who didn\'t take Launchpad.Partnered with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and our internal Data Scientists to develop a Generative-AI-based addition to DreamBox\'s Adaptive Engine, with a target to improve outcomes for historically marginalized student groups.Worked closely with Data Scientists and Curriculum Designers to develop a generative AI pipeline for a new Math Standards Prerequisites project which reduced ongoing CD input & review time by 80%.
