I have practiced public accounting since 2013, with a cross-industry focus on state and local tax (SALT) and credits and incentives consulting services.I have broad experience across SALT, including both direct and indirect taxes. I have helped clients determine state tax exposure through nexus, apportionment, taxability, and modeling studies. I have drafted complex letter ruling requests and technical memoranda, and assisted in administrative controversy matters. I regularly consult on the Oregon Corporate Activity Tax and local Portland metropolitan area taxes.I advise clients on federal and state zone, hiring, and investment-based business incentives, including possible tax credit monetization opportunities.
