ABOUT COLIN GRAY

After leaving University, I started my working life as an Electronics Engineer working for Plessey Avionics before moving into several IT Field Service roles which involved travel to support clients all over the UK and Europe. This provided me with a good technical awareness of Microsoft Technologies as well as providing a valuable grounding in client relations and good customer care; skillsets that have proved invaluable in my current role and that I have continued to develop over the last 18 years in my role as a Business Development Manager for Silversands. My focus at present is on helping clients apply technology which adds value and solves real business problems in a simple and intuitive manner that end users can relate to. Hybrid Cloud Solutions have become so complex and integrated that most IT teams struggle to deliver projects in isolation, and that is where Microsoft Gold Partners such as Silversands provide an essential role as we deal with Business Change Management on a daily basis.I am passionate about Account Management, attention to detail, delivering a quality service across our project and support activities, and ultimately providing an overall excellent customer experience. Happy clients help me build and develop both new and existing relationships helping me gain referrals to new organisations. Outside work, I am a big rugby fan as well as having a general interest in sport, walking, travelling overseas and following developments regarding the wider adoption of Electric Vehicles and renewal energy.
