About Colin Altmix
Attentive has always described me. This is especially true after my experience working as a camp counselor where I was responsible for a dozen children. In addition to facilitating group activities, I learned about the surrounding area to lead educational nature walks. This experience enhanced both my attentiveness and patience while keeping children safe and engaged.Another endeavor in which I oversaw a group of people was my Eagle Scout Service Project in which I lead 16 people in constructing a shelter. I acquired all the necessary materials and prepared the worksite for my group. I separated the project into three parts and delegated work to each group. Seeing this through to completion further developed my project management skills.Finally, I refined my customer service skills at Greater’s Ice Cream by serving customers, maintaining the store, and upholding their reputation for outstanding customer service. I prepared orders, answered questions, and offered suggestions to ensure that customers had the best experience possible. Because of my performance, I earned a WOW award for exceptional guest service. These past experiences have inspired me to make the most out of my Finance major through Kelley and beyond
