ABOUT COLIN YOUNG
Colin Young has over 24 years experience in the construction and insurance industry as a project manager, estimator, and consultant. Prior to his tenure at J.S. Held, he has been involved in estimating, project management, and on-site project monitoring on numerous loss assignments throughout Canada, the United States, Colombia, Dubai, Indonesia, South Africa, and Thailand. Colin was also involved with several high-profile aviation disasters over the years with the recovery and repatriation of personal effects. As a consultant Colin has been involved with many large-scale commercial losses in the Industrial, commercial, institutional and education sectors. With a strong background in large scale commercial mitigation, he has used this knowledge to assist in the mitigation of costs associated with the recovery work.During his tenure at J.S. Held, Colin has been involved in estimating, project management, and onsite project monitoring. He has had extensive involvement in numerous major loss assignments throughout Canada and has consulted on large complex insurance losses including hotels, schools, high-rise office buildings, apartment complexes, food processing, and manufacturing buildings. Colin works out of our Toronto office and coordinates and mentors his team across Canada.
