ABOUT COLIN SPRUCE

I am a senior at Boston College, pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in management with a double concentration in finance and business analytics with a minor in philosophy. I have over 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, working as a server at Balboa Bay Club and Asada Tacos + Beer, where I provided excellent customer service, promoted specials and programs, and handled various issues and concerns. I have also developed skills in event planning and bartending, which I applied as a member and co-chair of the Sophomore Leader Council at the Boston College Residence Hall Association. I was also recently elected to the position of co-president for the 20••••25 school year where I will continue to develop these skills and enhance my experience. As a server at Balboa Bay Club, I served over 75 members per shift, providing first contact and special handling of certain members following company guidelines. I also coordinated activities with management and staff to ensure a clean, organized establishment and a good overall member experience. As a Sophomore Leader Council Co-Chair, I partnered with my fellow leaders to plan and execute events for the residence hall community, such as social events, grab and gos, and many more exciting events. I also supported the Resident Assistants and the Resident Director in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for the residents. I am passionate about creating memorable and meaningful experiences for people, and I am eager to learn from and contribute to a diverse and dynamic team.
