ABOUT COLIN SHAW
I am the Head of Learning and Development for Europe, Middle East and Asia at global law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright. I am a seasoned trainer, experienced in working with people to build their leadership, management and personal skills. Along with the rest of our L&D team at NRF, I deliver a broad range of training to clients of our firm as well as to Norton Rose Fulbright colleagues. I am qualified in a number of psychometric tools which assist people and teams in their development. After practising as a lawyer, I worked as in-house counsel for an international port logistics company in Durban. In this role, I was a client of Norton Rose Fulbright for 16 years before joining its Learning and Development team in London at the beginning of 2017. I am the chair of the City of London Law Society Training Committee. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree and LLB degree from Rhodes University in South Africa.I believe that we should never stop learning, and that training should be both practical and fun.
